About

Need to measure something right now and there is no tape measure in sight? RulerTape turns your iPhone screen into a calibrated ruler. Lay a screw, coin, cable, key or charm on the display, drag the two guides to its edges, and read the size in centimeters, millimeters or inches. Most screen rulers guess your device size and hand you a number that is quietly wrong. RulerTape has you calibrate once against a bank card or coin you already own, stores that factor, and applies it to every tool in the app. And it does not stop at a ruler: a drag-anywhere tape canvas, a protractor with a rotating set square, a bubble level driven by the motion sensors, and a length converter all read from the same calibration. Everything runs offline on the device — no camera, no account, no connection. WHAT YOU GET - Read the exact size of small parts in cm, mm or inches without hunting for a tape measure - Trust the number, because you calibrated the scale against a real card once - Measure length, area, height and tilt on one drag canvas, then lock the reading so it cannot slip - Check any angle with the protractor and set square, or square up a shelf with the bubble level - Convert mm, cm, m, km, inches, feet, yards and miles without leaving the app - Keep useful sizes in history, star the ones you reuse, and pull them back up later PERFECT FOR - DIY and home repair: screws, bolts, washers, drill bits, hardware you have to match - Crafters, jewelers and hobbyists sizing beads, findings, yarn, model parts - Shoppers checking whether a listed dimension really fits the shelf or the wrist - Students and makers who need an angle, a level line or a fast unit conversion WHY NOT JUST USE A REAL TAPE MEASURE Because yours is in the other room and the thing in your hand is 18 mm wide. A screen ruler wins on small objects you can physically rest on the glass, and it is always in your pocket. For anything longer than the display, the tape canvas and the converter carry the job. We will say it plainly: readings are calibrated approximations built for fast everyday sizing, not for machining tolerances. PRIVACY Measurements, favorites and your calibration factor stay in the app on your device. No account, no sign-up, no tracking profile, no ads. It all works with airplane mode on. FULL ACCESS Full access unlocks every tool with no limits: the calibrated on-screen ruler, the tape canvas with length, area and height modes, the protractor and set square, the bubble level, the unit converter, the common-object size reference and saved history. Offered as a weekly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple Account settings; the lifetime option is paid once. Calibrate against a card in under a minute, then measure the next small thing you pick up.
