Not up to date?
This version is dated Jan 2022 and FIH website states the latest rules would be published every 2 years but as at Feb 2025, no changes in this app. Is the app fully relevant then or just as an archive? Have there been no rule changes or directions in the last 3 years? Otherwise, it’s a good resource. v1.6.7

Quiz not updated
Questions in the quiz section do not reflect changes in the rules such as removal of players with goalkeeping privileges. Come on FIH get your act together and update the app.

Used to be a great app but now have trouble with not being able to scroll or access all the content

Latest upgrade resolves access to quiz. Once in the quiz unable to scroll through options on iPad. Green card!
No longer working on iPhone 12 or 13
This was a great app, and you could take the rules with you as an umpire. The quiz was a great way to increase your knowledge.
However, with the updates since the start of 2022. Now with an iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 (I don’t know about other iPhones), you can’t start the quiz. As the start button is not shown on the first page of the quiz.
It looks like the developers have not done any testing before releasing this new version.
It’s a shame that the recent updates have significantly reduced the value of the app. I recommended to other umpires, but I don’t recommend it now.
It would be great if it was fixed before the start of next season.

Quiz not working
No longer able to use the quiz in the app. Could use if before
Rules of Hockey update
I have recently updated the Rules of Hockey app on both my iPhone 12 and iPad and I am no longer able to begin the quiz on either. I tried deleting the app completely and re-installing it but it made no difference. I am running IOS 15.4.1
