If Rummy 500 had a slogan, it would be “Congratulations, you almost won… again.” Every game starts with hope, a decent hand, and the foolish belief that this is finally your lucky round. Then, somehow, the app magically deals your opponent the exact card they need while you spend 15 turns drawing enough 3s to open a small museum. It doesn’t matter if you play strategically, sacrifice to the card gods, or whisper encouraging words to your phone the result is always the same you’re one card away from victory, your opponent suddenly lays down their entire hand, and you’re left staring at the screen wondering if the shuffle button is secretly powered by betrayal. Of course, it’s probably just bad luck… but after your 47th “unlucky” game in a row, you start giving the app the same suspicious look you’d give someone who keeps pulling aces out of their sleeve.
