Absolutely Abysmal Playthrough. Good thing it shall never be Updated.

Dear Viewer, heed my review… for the journey you embark on this game is nor charming or intriguing… this game will fuel any clueless viewer with rage. The enemy placements, the obstacle placements, and difficulty spikes make it a completely and almost utterly unplayable. The platforming is barely possible, and everything is so overly priced in Gold Coins. The enemies are just generic, slates. Bats, Slimes, Red Slimes, Snakes, Scorpions, Skulls, which are arguable the worst in the game due to their unpredictability and quick charge leaving the player without a moment’s notice to react, Winds, and Zombies. The Bosses are truly generic, Jerry is a Giant Rabbit, Scorpio is a Female Scorpion Demon, and Kalin is beyond a mystery to me. Perhaps he may be Lucifer? The Characters are boring and forgettable. Aran may be the worst protagonist of all time. He runs away from all his problems and it deservedly costs him. It also leaves the Princess, Prim, in danger. Prim has to save him now. Fortunately, the game did not continue after Episode 2, 5-6. 5 Years Later, so take this warning fellow App Store Users… Beware Run Again!

An inspired runner, but too blisteringly hard

I gave the previous version of this game a glowing review, but after playing it a bit more, it’s just far too difficult to progress further than 45 minutes or so into the game.

I absolutely love the pixel art, the handcrafted levels, the character designs, the controls, the music, everything. But I hate the Comic Sans, and I hate the blisteringly hard difficulty.

This game is insanely challenging, and the monetization preys on that high level of frustration and absurd difficulty.

If you’re looking for the Dark Souls of side-scrolling runners, this is it. But for everyone else it’s just far too hard.
