Run Rabbit Run is a hardcore platformer game inspired by titles like Super Meat Boy. It focuses on precise jumping mechanics and navigating through increasingly difficult obstacle courses.
The game emphasizes skillful control of jumps, velocity, and inertia. Players must master these elements to leap over hazards like spike pits and circular saws. There is no wall-jumping, but a unique inter-jump velocity management mechanic is introduced.
The game features a stylized, silhouetted art style with a contrast-based aesthetic. It is complemented by a gorgeous soundtrack featuring live instrumentation and a variety of styles and moods, creating a unique atmosphere.
The game includes 2 tricky chapters and additional "secret" levels. Each level is carefully structured to provide a significant challenge for players.
This game is designed for players who enjoy a high level of difficulty and have nerves that can tolerate it. It is inspired by hardcore platformers, suggesting it may be quite challenging for those new to the genre.
