Run is so much fun you should make more I love it
Literally no ads.
First of all, this game is genuinely really awesome especially for a mobile game. The core gameplay is fun and unique, there is tons of content with branching paths and different characters, the story is cute and fun, and the music is way better than it has any right to be.
But also… there’s no ads? That’s a really big pro because it means you’re never torn away from the gameplay. It would be completely reasonable to have ads too so I have nothing but respect.

I tried logging out of Kongegrate like the stupid idiot I am and when I did all my progress went gone!!! Sure, what can you expect from a coderotting game? BUT If you play this do NOT log into kongegrate and if you did do NOT log out.

Although the game hasn’t been updated in over 8 years, I find it admirable how the sole creator of this franchise is STILL working on the remasters of Run 1 & Run 2 as of 2026. I’m attached to the distinct characters and their dialogues between one another (I suggest that they should be given names to humanize them more). My only problem is how the path “Bridge Building” has like ZERO checkpoints so when you leave the game or pause to map, it resets all your progress - it’s driving me insane

I HATE how during the bridge building quest, there’s like ONLY 2 checkpoints and I keep having to start ALL over again constantly. Pretty sure this game hasn’t been updated in 8 years so it’s not even worth it
Controls
Only complaint i have is the left and right controls.. my alien just keeps automatically going left when im trying to go right.. so when i try to jump over holes.. IT TURNS ME IN THE DIRECTION OF IT. and when im just running whilst holding the screen my alien tweaks out 😭
