Good game but too many adverts!
Alright!
I enjoy this game but there are waaay to many ads if you want to play for free. They really push the in-app purchases. I also don’t enjoy the fact that I can collect all these bonuses like gold and wood and other things but I can’t seem to find where I can use them. They can’t be used for more moves or to add time. What the heck am I collecting them for?

Not enjoyable anymore
I used to like this game but it’s impossible to get thru a level without having to use gems. Cannot afford to buy gems anymore as the prices are too high and to constantly watch the same ad over and over just to get some more gems (maybe 5 gems if you’re lucky) is annoying. And the same levels recycled over and over is boring. I’ve now deleted game.

New update erased ALL my wood
Since the recent update all my wood has disappeared. I now have to open 2 islands with over 7000 wood each to finish level. It’s taking too long to collect wood. Please fix this problem.
New update is annoying
Not enjoyable since update in April 2025. Now have a timer that’s short and when I leave the game the timer continues countdown. No pause button when you leave game. Bring back the game before update. Can’t play anymore.
Really enjoying this game. I like that if you leave in the middle of the game it keeps your progress and takes you back to where you left off instead of starting the level all over again. The only problem I have is that even though you can make the map a bit bigger, I still can’t see the chests open/closed. But otherwise it’s a great game.

Mostly good
I’ve been enjoying the game, and sometimes it does test my powers of observation. I’ve got stuck once or twice when it doesn’t recognise a button tap or an item in my inventory, but they always seem to clear overnight. Some sort of reset, maybe? Anyway, this is the only match-3 game that I’ve stuck with, so they must be doing something right.

Fun Match-3 With a Few Flaws
Update June 2024:
- I love the tree merging minigame on the over-map & wish I could play more than twice without a timer cooldown.
-Still hoping for Runefall 2 will come to the app store.
-Yep, making any purchase gets rid of the horrendous ads - worth it!
Pros:
-Very large levels
-Extremely chill
-Fun story integration
-Interesting mini-puzzles in & out of levels
Cons:
-Cannot go back to levels, which is frustrating. I really enjoy clearing the maps entirely, using strategy to get all the objectives, but end up having to focus on primary objective & that's about all.
-The font on the map is ridiculously tiny, & if you zoom in on the map, which is not done via gesture, but a slow + button, it resizes when you exit it.
-Lastly, please add Runefall 2 to the app store!

Enjoyable initially, but fatal problems
I enjoyed the Merge Venture app, and was excited about this game but found that it was heavily focused on adds for other games. Every time you finish a level you are forced into an add and they are repeat over and over. I read a response from the company to another review that was complaining about the adds, stated that any purchase would turn off the adds. I have found that is not true. I have made 2 purchases from the site, but still am getting adds. So the game is gone as far as I’m concerned.

Disappointed & ripped off
Was good until higher 50+ level then got buggy wouldn’t move on map froze so had to reinstall. BUT I had 3000 plus jewels in my bank and when it restarted I had 10. This is a huge rip off and I will be complaining to the App Store
Cannot sync between devices
I love the actual game but I’m having huge issues trying to get it to sync between my iPhone and iPad. I’ve tried it with Apple and Facebook and it ends up freezing on one or both devices and will never sync. It’s frustrating that I can’t continue my progress.
Help would be good.
I started playing this game and the help is pretty poor. I have power up refills, 58 in fact, and have no idea how to use them. A few more instructions on the game would help people , I am sure I’m not the only one. Nothing anywhere to help with this. If someone could help I would appreciate it
Can no longer watch ads for freebies
Been playing this game for a long time and it’s been frustrating at times with glitches here and there but now I am consistently having trouble; can no longer use the watch ad feature to move ahead game just shuts down. I think I’m going to have to give up on this!
Great game however...
It's a great game that is very casual to play and lots of mini games to keep it interesting. However the ads drive me nuts...they go on too long with no way to quickly exit them. I would pay for a no ads version but the developers have not given this as an option....so knocked a star off for that.
Second star knocked off as the map is so small and hard to read so that needs improving.
But overall a good relaxing game...just sort the ads out!

Gave up
Took so long to down load I gave up and deleted it before I got a chance to play it.
Excellent
This is one of my best games. It rarely goes wrong, there’s lots of variety with small games to play after the main one. Also ads aren’t intrusive, and quick to dismiss if you’re not interested. There’s also lots of ways to earn gems and other rewards. Some levels are a bit long, but you can pause them and easily come back later to where you left off.
I lost this game when my iPad died, and had to start again, but now you’ve ruined it by putting in an annoying pulsating arrow which is distracting and gets in the way. It isn’t helpful, and I don’t want to be told which way to go. I can make up my own mind.

Too many ads
You have to watch sooo many ads to play the game. The game is great ads are not
Game is Freezing
The last two days the game is freezing. I can’t complete tasks or watch ads to earn moves. Will there be a fix soon?
