Extremely disappointing experience and zero support
I really regret booking a session through Runzy.
I contacted the team a week ago about an issue where I paid for a session expecting it to be the upcoming Sunday (as they advertise “weekly runs”), but only later found out the session was scheduled for a month from now. There was no option to reschedule or change the date, and no clear information during booking. Thinking it was a system glitch, I canceled — assuming I could rebook. Turns out, the session is non-refundable and non-transferable, and now the next one is again a month away. Basically, I just threw money into the void.
What’s worse: no one has replied to my email. Their WhatsApp shows the last activity was over a month ago. There is zero customer support and no other way to get in touch. For a paid service, this is completely unacceptable.
Don’t bother with this app unless you enjoy wasting your time and money with no recourse. Seriously unprofessional.

Wouldn’t bother
Downloaded the app. Booked a run. Paid. All seemed fine
Logged in the week of the run the check the details. I was logged into a random persons account for some reason so logged out. Was unable to log back into my own account as apparently it no longer existed. Used my original email address and the run didn’t show up
Contacted Runzy via the link in the app that leads to WhatsApp. No acknowledgment or response.
Missed my run and lost £4.

Having to pay to run
Didn’t even get to try it as you have to book? To run. This app is deceiving by its promotion video. £3.99 to run with people is hilarious.
Lacking a trial
To not have some sort of trial and immediately have to pay £3.99 feels like a miss.
I heard about Runzy through an Instagram ad and you haven’t yet sold the value proposition well enough for me to want to pay for it.
Ideally, I would be able to try it out first before committing. And if that’s not an option, it would be great to understand a bit more about the app - what kind of people will you match me to? How do you ensure our interests are aligned? What’s the run route? Do you have any testimonials or stories from users to give me confidence in the product?
Unfortunately, there is none of this in the onboarding. So when I reached the £3.99 paywall, I didn’t have any desire to pay.

Good, could do with a chat function
Good app idea and nice to meet new people. Was hard to find group at a very busy Victoria park, so I’d recommend either a chat functionality that opens up in the hour around the meet, or a more specific meeting location, like with what three words.
Doesn’t worth the subscription
The apps is not working. There’s no tab where all scheduled runs are located and upcoming runs disappearing which leads to you not being able to see them or modify them or anything. Customer support is unresponsive for days. Doesn’t work the subscription fee
Too limited locations
Even in London, there are only 4 main locations available, all around central/east London. No good for anyone in West London
First run
Very nice way to meet new people. Got connected to guys with similar interests. Definitely going again
Not enough details on runs before asking for payment
Doesn’t give you a clear idea of where runs would be before signing up for a paid subscription. London is a big place. There are too many unknowns before signing up for a subscription, I have no idea if it’d work for me
Only 4 locations
There are only 4 locations you are allowed to choose, so if you aren’t from London, Sydney, Paris or New York then this app is useless for you
