This is a simply wonderful app. I have been interested in Russian art for some time, but i find that no-one I have shown it to had a clue that Russian art was so good. It is comparable in quality to the art of any European culture but has been rather overshadowed by the pre-eminence of French and Italian art. This app will help to correct that imbalance. The paintings are not only stunningly beautiful -and many of them courageously and successfully take on the tricky task of portraying the vastness of the Russian landscape, both steppe and forest -but also offer a fascinating insight into Russian culture and way of life. This app has given me enormous pleasure and I cannot recommend it too highly. Thank you for creating it, and well done!

I never had the opportunity nor the means to travel to Russia, but now, thanks to the Internet we're able to enjoy this marvelous art. Thank you for making it accessible.
I don't know what happened, but after downloading 3 pictures, now I am not able to download any other pictures, even though it seems all the download and email buttons are fully functional, you go through all the motions of sending an email with an attachment, but nothing is sent out.
