I see the app has videos for each lesson, but do each of these have audio? Or is it just pictures and text? If it has audio for some reason I can’t hear it.

Best start to learning Russian
I started a Duolingo course but had no clue what the characters ment so I decided that I needed to learn the alphabet before vocabulary, at first the app looked unreadable but the lessons are vary in depth and well made, this is the best place you can start when learning Russian.
No sound
I’ve had this app for years. When I downloaded and started it about 8 years ago it was great. Went back to relearn after I stopped practicing a few years ago and no sound.
This is the best possible start to Cyrillic I could have.
Developer did a fantastic job on this. Slow paced lessons- tho all within 3 hours- allows you to digest the bite sized chunks of the language as he weaves them together. Feels gratifying to learn. It's just videos- but it's done really well, with effective quizzes & content within. Bravo

This is the very best I have found online for teaching me reading and pronouncing Russian letters and words. A great way of teaching this.
THIS APP IS SO GOOD!!!
I bought Rosetta Stone and tried to start learning Russian only to find out that they don’t teach you the Cyrillic alphabet!
I tried looking on YouTube and it was soooo hard to comprehend it. Then I downloaded this app and the way they teach you and break it down is SO SIMPLE AND EASY!
I can’t believe this is free. I would have easily paid for this app. Much love and respect for giving the world a great way to learn the Cyrillic alphabet for free. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE ADS! Such a wholesome project, thank you!

The videos play fine but there is no sound to them, making it pointless. Very disappointed after I saw all the good reviews regarding this app.

Keeps its promise
Does what it says it will. Reading the letters in real signs is a nice touch and helps give a sense of tangible progress. The only thing that could improve it would be a proper practice mode included. But overall very good especially considering it is free.
The name of this app isn’t lying
Around 9 years ago, I used this app to learn Cyrillic in under 3 hours. I have still retained a remarkably significant amount of it (probably ~70-80%) without any practice because the comparisons they make to the shape of latin letters were so effective at ingraining it in my memory. I can’t speak Russian, but I can sure sound it out even to this day.

Why aren’t there more reviews and downloads for this app. It’s truly so amazinggg. Half my family is russian and all these years I just didn’t realize how important it would be to learn, I decided to learn and man this thing gives you such a headstart. Id say after 3 hours I can definitely read any sign I just need to remember the pronunciations of some letters. I will move to the podcast now, and eventually the accelerated course for speaking with my kids.

Just amazing
I have been learning Russian from the “Russian Made Easy” podcast. I only recently started using this app so I can learn Cyrillic. This app takes the learning experience to a new level, and I feel like I have a much better grasp on the language as a result. The team that put this together created the most effective way to learn Russian naturally, and in a way that makes me want to learn even more. This “language companion app” is so good, that even if you are not actively trying to learn Russian, I think you will enjoy using this app just for fun. You may be surprised how great it feels to learn in a gradual, and fun way.

As basic as this app is, it is the most intuitive and easy way to learn the Cyrillic alphabet! I highly recommend to anyone trying to learn it.

I'm an avid language buff and probably have 20-30 foreign language apps on my iPad. I think this is the best one I’ve seen in any language. It’s just a series of videos, but he leads you through learning to read Cyrillic at just the perfect pace, with great context along the way to make it as intuitive as possible. I really only intended to learn the alphabet so I could sound out written Russian for fun. But now I think I’ll check out his full language apps or website. If they’re anything like this, it’ll be a joy to learn. Amazing app!
