If I could give negative rating for this app, I would!!
It's an absolute waste of money!!! Volkswagen recommended this dashcam and it is useless!! Wasted $1400 for nothing. You can only access it if you disconnect your carplay and once you get out of the app, dashcam disconnects. Cannot access the live feed remotely.

Rubbish
The app disconnects you from apple play. You need to reconnect every time to view footage. It’s a horrible app to use and in general the quality of the footage is poor in good light and rubbish in low light. Don’t buy this dash cam. Poor Choice to offer up BYD.
Don’t get this dashcam
Why on earth would Kia recommend this? You have to entirely uninstall your phone from CarPlay every time you connect. Get a better option.
Road No View
So far I have only been able to connect via the phone app once. It’s an absolute pain that I have to disconnect CarPlay to try and connect to the camera in the car. It also only seems to record in one minute bursts. I didn’t shop around enough To see what else was available, as Kia recommended this product. I will keep trying, and I will also call the person that installed it, to see if there’s any way around connecting properly. I haven’t tried pulling the memory card out and accessing that but that seems a pain also. I wanted to be able to access it simply and see it simply on a phone or an iPad.. I couldn’t connect via the iPad either. These things should work first time and all the time with all the devices available now. I recommend you shop around before buying this system.
