Definitely a five star
Really helpful app, especially when dealing with billing issues in the pharmacy. Instead of having to call insurance every time there’s an issue, I can quickly search the app and find the code I need.
I actually used it recently for a patient’s billing issue and was able to find the right override code and sort it out within seconds, without having to call insurance. Definitely saves time and makes billing a lot easier.

Best App Ever As New Grad Pharmacist
I finally found something that summarized everything I would ever need to know in terms of billing. As someone who went to school in a different province than where I’m practicing and have had to learn billing from the start, this is amazing. Even if it’s not completely up to date, it definitely provides some guidance and direction on what to do and where to look and has completely alleviated my stress associated with billing problems and intervention codes. Great resource. Thank you so much!

Great App!
Great tools for pharmacists and pharmacy staff not only for billing but for finding and selling medications between dispensaries!
Sam
Great app for practicing pharmacists in Ontario.
Solution for saving time
Incredibly impressed with the quantity and quality of information found on this app.
I’m a fairly new pharmacy assistant, and I stumbled across an error code the other day that I was not familiar with. For context- the dentist who had prescribed the medication was not recognized by ODB. My assumption is that because the dentist was newly licensed, he was not on the system yet. I ended up spending ~45 minutes waiting for an answer from ODB on call. On the other hand, this error code was already on the Rx Billing Genie system, along with the applicable intervention code, and a “Genie Tip” that let me know to provide supporting documentation from the licensing body.
As pharmacists/assistants know, time is valuable in a pharmacy setting. Although calling did result in the problem being fixed, I could have saved a lot of precious time by checking the app first. I will be using Rx Billing Genie from now on to seek solutions before attempting to call insurances!!
