Good App, Bad Internet.
The app’s UI/UX is one of the best I’ve experienced so far, though some interactive transitions and animations need improvement to make the app feel less buggy or laggy. But genuinely, compared to MyGP or My Robi, the RYZE app is far better. It loads fast and works fast.
I’m not expecting endless internet, unlimited minutes, or ridiculously cheap services from the operator. Still, what they offer is comparatively cheaper and worth it compared to other operators. No complaints about their offers, as they’re still affordable, unless I start expecting limitless services.
However, the major limitation I’m facing is their internet speed. At my home, the download speed usually stays between 0 and 4 Mbps, while the upload speed disappointingly never goes above 0.9 Mbps and often drops to nearly zero. Meanwhile, other operators provide around 20 to 25 times faster internet.
And no, I don’t live in a basement or a rural area. I live in a central area of Jatrabari, on the 7th floor, where mobile towers are visible from my window in almost every direction. So, my location doesn’t seem particularly unfavorable for mobile internet.
Still, I’m using RYZE as my permanent SIM and have no plans to switch to GP or Robi just yet. I’m hoping Banglalink will overcome its limitations and invest more in its network and technology in the future.
Thank you, RYZE. Keep growing. We need a stable network, which should be your core service.
