Must Have List: Top 10

There has been a lot of thought that went into the UI/UX of S3. I love the universal setup across all my devices and not having to worry that an rclone mount/unmount is gonna force a reboot. The dev has achieved a great balance of both form and function. This sets a new bar for how iOS apps should be done.

Very satisfied

I use this app to backup the contents of my phone to AWS S3 since I find S3 to be much more reliable and fast than other cloud drives like Onedrive. This app works really well, is smooth and very intuitive to use. Also the developer is very quick to address any bugs and adds support for new S3 features quickly too. Highly recommended for people who are a bit technically savvy.

FAQ

What does S3 Client do?

S3 Client allows you to access and manage your S3-compatible cloud storage directly from your device's native file system. It integrates with services like AWS S3, Backblaze B2, and MinIO, making your cloud files appear as if they are stored locally.

How does file synchronization work?

When you access a file, it is downloaded on demand. If you modify a file through the app, it is automatically synchronized back to your S3 storage, ensuring your cloud data is always up-to-date.

Is S3 Client free to use?

The app is free to use for a single server. To access multiple servers, a Pro Unlock is required, which can be purchased as a one-time payment or a monthly subscription. A one-week free trial is available for Pro features.

What S3-compatible services does it support?

It supports a wide range of S3-compatible services, including AWS S3, BackBlaze B2, CloudFlare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO, and other similar providers.

Can I share files with others?

Yes, you can generate pre-signed sharing links directly from Finder and the Files app. These links provide temporary access to files for up to seven days, allowing you to securely share content.
