When it works it’s ok but often disconnects
This is the worst thermostat I’ve had. It goes offline or completely dead randomly. I have had Nest thermostats in other homes that don’t have these issues. Basically this is unreliable.
It rarely works!
It’s just ok, this app needs a lot of work. It rarely works before you get frustrated and don’t bother. It would be wonderfully convenient if it did but constantly has a hard time connecting to the thermostat. Frustrating as heck!!

Reassuring
Worked to protect my house from afar during a brutally cold winter. Reassuring to know I could minimize and even avoid damage to pipes and all the possible damage that could occur during multiple days of below freezing temperature without being there.
IComfort is better than Lennox Home app
The Lennox iComfort app has all the detailed system operational features of the actual Lennox thermostat. The “updated” Lennox Home app dropped some of the operational options & has a less user friendly interface. For example, the option to select fan operation mode for each programmed cycle is available on the thermostat AND on this iComfort app…but NOT on the Lennox Home app (which only allows fan settings for an entire global program). This is the better app to use.

No other HVAC company is remotely close to having the number of reviews. Is obvious that they are manipulating the App Store to inflate positive reviews.

80% but reliable
I have had this system since 2021 and I am mostly satisfied with it. The connection has some issues at times but it’s mostly reliable. My biggest complaint it the lack of a fan mode and lack of manual override controls for the fan speed. Especially in “window season” this would be super helpful to have.

If Lennox set out to make the least user-friendly app ever, they nailed it.

While the system is fancy, we’ve been plagued with technical problems with the software and hardware. I wouldn’t but it again.
Loss of communication
When everything is working this app is great. Seems about every 5 months the system fails to communicate in some fashion. I called the first time the system failed and spoke to the Lennox idiot and they told me to call the installer. I decided to treat the system like any other piece of tech that stops functioning as designed and did a hard reset by cycling the circuit breaker. Turn off wait a minute and re energize the system. Normal operation was restored. Twice early on I had to re enter the system password to regain control of the system. For the money I put out I had higher expectations. The system heats and cools excellent when it isn’t falling on its back side.

Stop trying to make Customers switch to the new Lennox app “home” which is terrible! On the new app, you can’t toggle between systems! Keep this app, it’s great with the one exception that you ask me daily to switch to the terrible Lennox home app! Try to toggle in between systems… you can’t!!!

Can not believe how terrible this app is. Simple things like changing the temperature take forever given the slowness of the app.

Record time in dehumidification mode.
Record time in dehumidification mode.?? Monthly run times are posted for cooling and heating. Nothing is posted for 1st and 2nd stage cooling nor for times in dehumidification mode.
Can’t set schedules
Asks too much personal information, can’t set schedules, can’t customize anything. Setup takes a long time — you’ll be poking at the thermostat screen and entering passwords when they could have just made a QR code. Useless!
