Good Idea - just a few changes

Positive
- Idea and realization (including the genius idea of forcing the user to type in a reason before being able to stop the current sabbath)
- Design (simplicity and user friendly clear UI)

Negative
- Bug with the amount of time left when restarting your sabbath after temporarily stopping it
- Price of the Plus Version seems a bit exaggerated, all the schedules are locked behind the pay wall - which is fine because the primary focus is just the single day of the week (sabbath) - but considering that custom-scheduled blocking isn't a new thing and can be done with varius other apps brings up this critique
- No comparisons of the two plans (free vs plus) which isn't a huge deal but would it be nice to know the differences by adding some transparancy

Overall a solid - almost great - app for it's purpose.

Free trial only for yearly sub

The app works well most of the time, but sometimes it just doesn’t and needs to be reset.

My biggest gripe is the developer only attaching the free trial to a yearly subscription and not monthly. I forgot to cancel (there wasn’t a reminder) and boom, $40 gone. That’s predatory.

Sorry the blocking has been inconsistent. Offering a free trial with an annual subscription is a standard App Store model, and the renewal terms are shown before purchase. GORGEOUS AND IMPACTFUL APP

This app has made a huge difference. I use it to block social apps one day a weekend so I can be more present with my family and it’s amazing how much better it feels. Also it’s beautifully designed

Doesn’t work consistently

This app looks nice, but the functionality is pretty poor. The settings will show an app or website is blocked, but it’s still accessible during the Sabbath or Rest. I’ve tried reinstalling and reconfiguring but the block settings don’t work. Also the “leave review” shortcut in the app doesn’t work. And the premium sign up is tough to avoid. Fees like a vibe-coded slop app, which is disappointing because it’s a great concept.

There appears to be an iOS Screen Time limitation where it only accepts 50 blocked tokens and may fail silently when that limit is exceeded. (We’re adding an alert to prevent this confusion.) But it would help if we could investigate your account to confirm that's the issue affecting you. We've also fixed the broken review shortcut - appreciate you flagging this for us.

Scam app?

I feel like this app may be a scam app. It has one review. And it doesn’t work consistently. If you block a category of apps it will work. If you select individual apps but not the whole category, the individual apps you select are not blocked. I’ve gone I and tried to set this up over and over. Also, they lure you in with a free trial but then present a confusing screen with subscription pricing, which if you choose a tier (usually for when the free trial ends) , it subscribes and charges you right away without the free trial. Frustrating.

The annual subscription includes a seven-day trial; the monthly subscription begins immediately, and we’re sorry that distinction wasn’t clearer.
