I appreciate KZAP for the new rock but also for incorporating blues in your programming Friday’s at 5pm. Nice choice for the Blues Party host. Kyle has the chops to carry on what Mick Martin started.

KZAP plays such a great variety of old and new music. I also enjoy listening to new music from groups and individuals from the past.

What an awesome station. A good mix of quality classic and current music. I was pleased to hear an old Montrose song that no other station dares to play.
Great Music, Great Radio Station - the app is good basic app
This app has really only one function that it is good at - being able to listen to K-ZAP radio in Sacramento, CA. The DJ and the music is outstanding - they are not an ordinary classic rock station - they play music from 1965 to 2015 and the cuts from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s are ones besides just the top hits - and they throw in the occasional blues song and other formats that are fit with AOR music. My beef with the app is it does't do much else - it doesn't show the stations top tunes, recent playlist, the ability to vote on songs, discuss music - check out the app for Radio Paradise for what a real radio app can be. That being said - I do listen and really enjoy the great music and DJs of KZAP - hopefully they will get an app that's as good as the station someday

K-ZAP App music playlist is like having 4-6 rock music fans who vary in age by 50 years throw all their music collections into a random pile and then play each of thousands of songs one by one. The “suits” in charge of Classic rock radio stations play the same ~100 songs OVER AND OVER! Thank you K-ZAP!!

A mutual dog-park person told me about the DJs on this station and about the musical genre this station is dedicated to and supports.
Put the app on my phone, and CSN&Y’s “Country Girl” from Déjà Vu was playing. Wow, I have not heard that for years. The next song was by Nirvana, with those grainy, raw, vulnerable-sounding vocals.
I don’t know what else to say. Just fantastic to have this station in our area. It does Sacramento proud.
