PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE keep the search bar in the new music portion when the app switches to the Gospel Library app. We can find songs from the Friend (and more) on the Sacred music app that the Library app doesn’t have. There are so many beautiful songs that will be lost bc we won’t be able to find them.

Please Don’t take this away
I love using this app separate from the gospel library and will miss it greatly if you go through with taking it away. I can see the condensates of seeing the list of the songs for sacrament meeting and being able to click on them and go right to the song. However the beauty of having this separate app I like and use nearly exclusively, and use the gospel library app for reading the scriptures and other church material. So if there is a way to change your mind, please leave this app which I will use to its last day. Please keep it. Thanks for your time.

Playlists
Please allow us to keep our playlists created on Sacred Music App. Don’t see a way to create playlists in the other app.
The coming consolidation is a letdown
Please, PLEASE don't move this app into the Gospel Library. Opening the church music from there is very overstimulating for me—something many would never understand. Also, the hymns and songs are already in the GL (At least most of them). There's literally no need to consolidate them.
If you want everything in this app in the GL, just find a way to make it that way while leaving it possible to also have the music app separate from GL. That might help many on both sides feel accommodated.

Black screen only
Before and after last update app just opens shows a song then the screen goes black and nothing shows not even nav. You have a mast bug in your code. This is from iOS 12 pro max
Great Selection and Format for German Hymns and Songs!
I love this app, and use it at least every evening when I sing to my kids at bedtime. I use love the variety of German song collections (“Lieder für die Singzeit“, “Lieder für Kinder“, among others). These are currently available on the Church’s website, but they are NOT available in the Gospel Library app. It would be great if we could have those collections in the Gospel Library app, too, because the format makes it very easy to swipe between the songs, rather than hit the “Back” button on my phone’s browser, scroll down to find the next song, and open it. Maybe it’s just my lazy, millennial mindset, and I just need to get over it. I just think it would be nice to bring those over from Sacred Music to Gospel Library.

I hate to see this app go
I know the songs are available in the gospel library app, but I love having this separate app for doing the music and then doing the scriptures and our magazine article articles etc. separate. If at all that there’s an opportunity to reconsider removal of this app please reconsider I love it and I love the way it’s been for these years where it’s available both ways. My vote would be to keep the app and do it where the usage can come from either direction either out of the gospel library or this one but thank you for this app

This app needs more UX testing and QCing
I have been playing organ and piano for sacrament meeting and primary for years and find this app so frustrating to use sometimes that I’ve started downloading the PDFs so I can open them in ForScore instead… Here are my main issues:
When viewing sheet music, the black menu bar at the top is such a waste of space. You could put all of the buttons in that menu on a single row, and it needs to hide on scroll.
Sometimes when I try to scroll down quickly while I’m playing it registers a left/right swipe which takes me to the next song, which is the last thing I would want to do in the middle of a playing a song. You need to disable the left/right swipe entirely, no one navigates through the hymns like that one at a time, it makes way more sense to just go back to the main list.
The formatting needs to be QC’ed with a fine tooth comb. There’s multiple songs like 1009 where the coda is impossible to see because it’s hiding behind the treble clef. Other songs suffer from overlapping like 1030.
Give us an option to hide the guitar chords.
The Download/Remove button is a very confusing name for a button, it should just be Download.
Put the song numbers on the sheet music.
Do regular and more stringent UX testing with the people who are playing the music every week in church.

Missing Hymns
The last batch of hymns, still has not bed added to this app. Those have been out for months, when will they be included?

1. “Full” screen mode is not full screen. A useless giant black bar covers the top 20% of the screen. It only has an option to change the text. It makes reading sheet music in landscape mode very frustrating.
2. There are no numbers on the new hymns. They are in the menu, but once you click on the hymn and are looking at the sheet music, it’s not there. It then becomes really hard to swipe through hymns to a certain number without exiting to the list.

Love making playlists!
I love this app and all the music on it! I love that I can make playlists as well! Only complaint is that the "new hymns" don't show up for quite a while after they're released. I've checked for an update and don't see one. I wish they came automatically like on the Gospel Library app.
New hymns not appearing
I wish there was a way to see the queue of music waiting to play and rearrange them. Also the hymns released in February are not appearing even after updating. I do LOVE the music and much of the app
Bugs and bad design choices
I’ve been critical of this app for a long time now. It has a great base like the auto measure adjustment depending on orientation, but…
Two major bugs that ruin the experience:
Once you select a hymn if you change the orientation from horizontal to vertical the hymn number changes as well.
In full screen mode in any orientation the header takes up way too much of the screen. Full screen should mean full screen!
Also, show the hymn number and info without having to change the view. Don’t dumb down the interface!
