I Can’t Do Anything
On the Discover page, I was unable to like a single person without being prompted to start a free trial. It’s one thing to say a premium membership gives unlimited likes, but looking is absolutely a core feature most people won’t pay for.
Seeing who likes me? Maybe. Liking other people? Absolutely not. Unfortunately, I’ll be deleting this app because I’m unable to make a single connection.

Fair, and thank you for saying it directly. Reaching the end of your feed on day one is a density problem, not a you problem. We are growing deliberately rather than fast, because loosening who we let in would cost the thing that makes the matches worth having. That tradeoff is real and you felt the wrong end of it. Did not waste time
There weren’t many people in my area but each person I matched with was genuine. Very quickly I met someone who has become a great new friend and another person who has become the most aligned partner I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t quite expect to find my person on an app - we both wondered if who we want to be with would even be on an app. But the modern world is weird so we tried it and it is working out really well.
The ethos of the app seems to cultivate and attract intentional people. That’s a big win.

This is the review we hoped someone would write one day. Thank you. You named what we built for. Depth over volume. Fewer people, but the right ones. We would rather you meet ten people who mean what they say than a thousand who do not. Density in smaller areas is the thing we are still working on. We want the pool to grow without the ethos changing. That is the harder problem, and we are not rushing it. Congratulations on both of them, the friend and the partner.
