About

TabCaptain helps you make sense of Safari tabs on iPhone and iPad. Open the extension inside Safari to see accessible website tabs in one list and find the page you need faster. TabCaptain is available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, with a dedicated app and Safari extension for each platform. When many tabs are open, it can be hard to remember where you left an article, document, or product page. TabCaptain shows accessible tabs across Safari windows and adds search by title and URL, visual sorting, grouping by site, and quick actions. What you can do: • Search open pages by title or URL. • Group tabs by website in the TabCaptain list and mark important pages. • Close individual tabs and see the duplicate count. • Review tabs before bulk cleanup: choose one website, keep the current and pinned tabs, or deselect individual pages. • Save sets of tabs as sessions and restore them later. • Transfer manually saved sessions between devices by exporting and importing a file. • Put tabs to Sleep, bring them back, and reopen recently closed pages. Before bulk cleanup, TabCaptain saves the selected tabs as a session. Only the selected accessible website tabs are closed. Private tabs and Safari internal pages are excluded from this action. Sync with iCloud. Saved sessions and website tabs across your Apple devices. You choose which tabs to open. Enable on each device with the same iCloud account. Links and titles use your private iCloud database. Only accessible, non-private website tabs are shared. Sleep and settings stay local. Offline or sleeping devices may show older lists. Turning sync off keeps local data and the last iCloud copy. To get started, enable the TabCaptain extension in Safari Settings and allow website access. The main tools live inside Safari. The app helps you set up the extension.
