SafeAlert Check-In

SafeAlert Check-In helps you create a clear safety message when you feel unsafe and want trusted contacts to have important context. The app lets you: - Save trusted contacts locally on your device - Choose which contacts should receive an alert - Review the Messages text before anything is sent - Add Apple Maps or Google Maps links when you choose - Add device name and device status when you choose - Add a short temporary audio note - Add a one-time typed message - Copy or share the alert text through another app - See no-network guidance before reviewing the alert SafeAlert Check-In is designed for manual control. It does not send SMS messages silently or automatically. When you tap Review in Messages, iOS opens the Messages composer so you can review and send the alert yourself. The current version does not require an account and does not include ads, analytics, tracking, push notifications, backend alert delivery, or background location. SafeAlert Check-In is a safety companion for communicating with people you trust. It is not a replacement for emergency services.
