Great parenting accountability tool
Let’s face it, our kids are growing up in a much different world than we did (I’m a child of the 70’s). SafeCircle provides an accountability with my kids knowing that, while I can’t and don’t watch them 24 hours a day, their comings and goings are documented. My kids would call this a parent-stalker app and for some parents (who have all the time in the world on their hands) that’s what it ‘could’ be. I don’t have that time, so I do not pull up SafeCircle to spy on my kids but I do love the reporting aspect, because, it holds them accountable. Notifications that they’ve arrived or left home are especially beneficial. Now that we have a new driver, I upgraded to the gold membership which tells me how fast they’re driving and especially IF THEY'RE USING THE CELL PHONE WHILE DRIVING!!!!! Teen driving is daunting enough as it is, but texting and driving? Oy! Our rules are quite clear: Use the phone and lose the car. SafeCircle keeps that rule strictly in place for our son.
I highly recommend this app. It could quite literally save your kids life (and others!).
