Almost there.
I’ve been testing several safe driving apps over the past few weeks, trying to find the right fit for our family. The leading app in this space raises serious privacy concerns, so we looked for alternatives. One more privacy-focused option ended up being way too noisy — constant alerts made it unusable.
I had high hopes for this app as a “Goldilocks” solution. It’s headed in the right direction but still feels more like a beta than a finished product. The biggest issue is that setup and subscription have to be done from the teen driver’s phone, which isn’t practical. And unsubscribing has to be done from their phone too — not ideal for parents.
Another limitation is that driving isn’t tracked in real time; you can only see trips after they’re done, which wasn’t helpful in our case.
That said, I think this app has real potential if the developers narrow the focus to safe driving only and avoid trying to bundle in too many unrelated features. If they make improvements in the future, I’d definitely consider giving it another try. A clean, privacy-friendly driving app is something a lot of families are still looking for.

Thanks for using the app. Subscription has to be done from driver's iPhone because parents get to use the app for free. In iOS all subscriptions are managed from the iPhone that initiated the subscription (for all apps). Real time tracking: the app records speed every 500 meters. So, if the driver does not move, no iPhone battery iPhone is consumed. It would have been a lot easier to implement something that constantly measures speed but it would have run down the iPhone battery very quickly.
Doesn’t work
My son purchased the app, paid the $14, sent me an invite about 6 times, used 2 different emails for me, and I never received any of the invites. I emailed support and didn’t get a response. I want a refund and have no way of getting it. Smfh

Epic Fail
I installed this app today to track my teenager on a road trip. We followed the install instructions and all the app can do is show where my teen stopped...never did it record the speed. I contacted the developer and did get responses in a very short amount of time, but there wasn’t a resolution available. I had to sign up for a subscription to get the 7 day free trial, but now I cannot get a refund.

I followed all their directions - app frequently stops working. Madness. Save your money and use a real app. Better yet, use a fool proof OBC.

Great when works
This app is great, when it works. It turns itself off and on and doesn’t record speed all the time. My kid swears he doesn’t turn it off...goes inactive. Am going to look for something different. Have emailed support before, took over a week for an answer and it wasn’t an answer.

Was going to use but...
For some strange reason the app requires location services to be on for the parents monitoring the teen. If im not monitoring my driving i shouldnt need location services on “always”. Will drain battery for no reason. If that gets resolved i would use and change my rating.

Watching over
Not over complicated but does what it’s supposed to, if you want bells and whistles get something that will cost you a lot more money and confusion but if you want to know where your teen driver is and how fast there going get this app.

If you're a concerned parent.... This is what you're looking for
I am a single father of a teenager girl. I just started using this app last night. I had some issues setting it up. I contacted the support staff. Within mins they replied and helped me with my issue. That alone is awesome! The app itself is really cool. It does all the hard work. I don't have to know all the speed limits everywhere. If she exceeds the limit, the arrow turns red. It's absolutely great. I like know where she is if something happens. It's a great tool for a new driver.
The only thing I'd suggest be tweeked a bit is who purchases the subscription. I wanted this app. I purchased the app. I don't believe any child wants to be tracked. On top of that having to pay for it.lol I would like to see an option of who pays for it.

Just what I was looking for!
I have a new driver and wanted a way to monitor her speed for my own peace of mind. This app fits the bill! It lets me see where she has traveled and her rate of speed including the posted speed limit at times. I receive an alert if she’s traveling above the posted speed limit (but honestly when that happens she’s riding in the car with my husband or I.) I can monitor how fast her friends drive when she’s a passenger. Excellent value. Many apps out there cost more per month then I paid in total.

Only good when it works
This app is wonderful when it is working. However, it randomly enables and disables itself from teen’s phone. Very disappointed and she paid $9.99 for the full subscription.

App works great. I had a couple of questions and emailed the support link. Got a helpful response almost immediately. I looked at some other way more expensive apps. I wouldn’t waste my money on those. For $9.99 one time price this is totally worth it.

Very confusing app
Make sure you go backwards on this app before you pay anything. Very confusing on the layout. They ask for the subscription money before they tell you how the app works. Wouldn’t you know after spending $10 as a parent to monitor my teenagers driving I don’t need a subscription as a parent. All invites have to come from the kids. Way to explain that before you ask for the money. Waste!!!

There is a “how to use this app” section in the app which illustrates how to use the app and you don’t need a subscription to view the instructions (which are quite straightforward). Novel and convenient
This is such a novel app. You set it up once and forget about it until you want to see if your kid has driven faster than they should. Sends me notifications if they drive too fast. Even if my son is in the passenger side and one of his friends drives, I get a notifications if they drive too fast. Great stress reducer.
