Set your loudness thresholds in dBA - the numbers and boxes will gradually fill, and change colour, as the risk to your long-term ear health increases. Pro unlocks Targets: set a target SPL and you get an available headroom reading for the given time window. Exportable pdf session charts are available at end of each session. Please note: the app utilises the microphone on your iPhone or iPad. While these are standardised across iOS, and give a fairly reliable correlation to actual SPL, this application is NOT a scheduled or legal measurement device. If you have your own calibration gear, there is an option to set a calibration offset to help minimise variance. Under no circumstances can this app be used for sound measurements that are legally required for compliance, or as a replacement for regulated noise-safety devices.
