- bug fixes - adding the possibility to save decrypted note back to evernote

User reviews

Doesn't work and be careful

It can't even find my note and stuck at the Quick Notes as DEFAULT SECTION, even after I have removed the Quick Notes and created couple of new ones. I'm using M365 OneNote. Lucky I was just testing and have not put anything in it yet. NOT trust worthy.

Great app, but crashes when trying to save an image

Hello, the app crashes when I attempt to save an image that I’ve uploaded to an encrypted note. I tap the image, tap “Save to camera roll”, and the app crashes. If this could be fixed that would be great. I found that the way around this is to save an image to the Files app and transfer it to my photo gallery from there, but it would be nice if the original feature worked. Thanks!

Good app, I look forward to its improvement

Good app for having encrypted notes that only you hold the key to (something Evernote and Apple still haven't gotten around to implementing). The app does exactly what it is: let's you upload and edit your notes and documents to Onenote and Evernote while keeping them secure and encrypted.

One problem, when I delete a notebook in Evernote, Saferoom doesn't allow me to remove the notebook on its end.

Things I would like to see:
Automatic refresh of saferoom
Dark mode
Default "all notes" view
Abilities to delete notebooks/notes from saferoom

Response from developer

Thanks for awesome feedback! We've just released an update covering couple of things you mentioned. However, we could not make the deletion part as it is blocked by Evernote/OneNote APIs. Once again, thanks a lot for the feedback!

Great idea, not so good app

The app is fairly from what they say secure. And it's a great design and even idea.

However, it's very cumbersome to use. Takes a lot of time and isn't really all that efficient. I find more time and frustration trying to get access to my notes securely that it's really not worth the hassle for me.

Hope someone or this company changes how efficient getting to care notes.

Response from developer

We are sorry for such experience! And we totally agree that sometimes Saferoom can be cumbersome - our task is to make Saferoom much better app. We would really appreciate that you also contact us to get a bit more details about app slow response.

Finally, Encryption for Evernote Attachments on iOS!

The long wait is over! The ability to encrypt Evernote notes with attachments of all kinds: images, PDFs, office documents, text files and more can all be encrypted and decrypted along with or without Evernote Note text.

This solution has been on my wait list for years. Evernote has never been able to provide it. And SafeRoom has not only delivered, they have knocked it out of the park with their iOS app!

It is slick and easy to use. Integrates seamlessly with Evernote and all your Notebooks. You have access and views to Evernote Notebooks, Tags and Notes. Can easily access encrypted notes and if you use the same encryption password as the SafeRoom desktop app, you can decrypt Evernote Notes you encrypted with the desktop app.

If you are looking for an Evernote encryption application, I highly recommend checking out SafeRoom.
