Need to redact a screenshot or photo on iPhone or iPad? SafeShot is a before-sharing privacy checker that uses local OCR to find sensitive information and helps you cover it quickly. Images and OCR text are processed on your current device. SafeShot does not upload images, use cloud OCR, or require an account. Load images quickly - Choose an image from Photos - Open a local image from Files - Scan an image from the clipboard Local sensitive-information detection - Email addresses, phone numbers, and account identifiers - Passwords, API keys, tokens, and login credentials - Verification codes, OTPs, and security codes - Identity documents, passport information, and dates of birth - Payment cards, IBANs, SWIFT/BIC codes, and wallet addresses - IP addresses, parameterized URLs, and meeting links - Order IDs, customer identifiers, and shipment references - Postal addresses, coordinates, and license plates - QR codes, barcodes, and possible face regions Precise manual redaction - Tap recognized text to add a redaction - Draw a manual region directly on the image - Move, resize, or delete manual regions - Zoom in to review small text and image edges Review and share - Switch between the original and redacted preview - Choose a solid block or pixelated style - Copy the redacted image - Send or save it through the system share sheet All detection categories are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings. Automatic detection can be affected by image quality, fonts, languages, and layout, so always review the result before sharing. SafeShot Pro is an optional one-time upgrade that unlocks unlimited copying and sharing. It does not renew automatically. Purchases and restores are handled by Apple StoreKit. Privacy protection should happen before an image leaves your device.
