App crashes after one second
Every time I start the application, it opens to its first screen pauses for one second or less, and then closes. If I move quickly, I can press the add device button, and it still does not stay open and search for the device.
I guess the company cheap out on creating an application and figured they could get by without one. Since the application is required for almost every bit of functionality, the gun box is rendered almost useless and no new fingerprints or RF ID devices can be added.
The manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves!

Fix your app!
Fix this! It crashes as soon as you open it
Get ready to sue!
For all who have the gun box that can’t use the app to configure, add, delete or change your gun box: since this is a method for protection that we have decided to purchase and use and since the manufacturer has yet to update the app to work with a product that is still being sold: I will be sure to sue for any loss of life or damages that occurs if I can not get to my firearm to protect myself and my family. Don’t make a product function off of an app and not update it. It’s like buying a car that can’t have maintenance done. It will crash and burn and people will get hurt in the process!

Safetech app won’t pair to Gunbox.
don’t know what else to say. it doesn’t pair to the device. I’ve checked all my Settings.
Update this App already!
As long as Gun Boxes are being sold, the app should be updated and supported. It’s a shame, app hasn’t worked in years!

This app is absolute garbage! I never works, constantly closes and won’t pair any device!
Totally unacceptable
Others have said it, but it’s too late because they don’t tell you this app is the only way to configure your device (gun box) when you purchase. I’ll be working to get my money back. Really disappointed on a product I was hopeful would need my needs.

The fingerprint reader has always been suspect but the app always worked. Now the app crashes every time I open it. Useless. Now what?
Great idea, just bad product
I’ve had this gun safe for a few years now. Finger print never really worked. Use key card any time I need my gun. All kids are gone now so maybe it’s time for this SafeTech product to go as well.
Out of business?
Our fingerprint reader on our Echo quit working soon after we got it. The key fab does work, but in an emergency, trying to find the fab while panicked, or leaving the fab right next to the safe, seems counterproductive. This app crashes as soon as you open it. Hopefully they are out of business.
Crashes with iOS 14.3
This app crashes and hasn’t been updated in a very long while. The safe is great but only with a working app. Don’t buy this product until they update the app.

What a joke
Possibly the buggiest, poorly engineered, Mickey Mouse, useless app I’ve ever attempted to use. Won’t even find my GunBox to connect. GunBox’s core hardware product is pretty sweet, but the sifter side like support, software, docs, etc are SEVERELY inept. What a shame.
App crashes instantly
The app used to work well for me for opening my gunbox next to my bed. Now the app won't even open as it just crashes as soon as you try to open it. It needs an update. Tried contacting the company and no luck via email. Very disappointed. At least I can open the safe with the key cards & fingerprint.

Gunbox garbage
Looks great works like garbage. Fingerprint sensor never works, alarm goes off for no reason. Tech support switches you between tech and no one handles the problem. Wish I never bought this.

App crashing in iOS 14.2
The app only stays open for a few before crashing, I’m not able to use at all. Please fix!
Overpriced paperweight
The biometric feature is terrible. The alarm goes off constantly. The app is virtually unusable since iOS 14.1 came out. This “safe” is going to get someone hurt or killed because they can’t access their self defense tool fast enough.
Not compatible with iOS 14.1
This app use to be great. I have updated my phone to iOS 14.1 and not the app crashes second after opening. This renders making changes to my gun safe useless.
Junk
I’ve tried on and off for three years waiting for an update or better troubleshooting from the company but nothing. I’m not sure if it’s an app issue or the gun box itself. It doesn’t want to broadcast Bluetooth very long. I’m not sure what the deal is but I’m disappointment.
