Great Idea
Great idea for an app. I like knowing whats going on, a lot of times navigation apps don't show road disturbances and this can give you a heads up before there's traffic build up. I love that this is simply audio over Waze or Google Maps so its not distracting.

Still haven’t fixed closing the camera view
I see others have reported this issue months ago. When I view a traffic camera, there is no way to close the camera and get back to the app. I have to close the app. There are other “features “ that have the same problem. iPhone iOS 15.2

One bug I wish they would fix is that when you go to the camera listings and preview a camera u have to close the app to get to a different camera there is no X to exit to the view of the camera which I hate

Significant Improvement
Downloaded new version and find it well-designed in that it offers a large amount of customisation and a fairly simple interface. Basically it has a not driving/configuration mode and a driving mode. The not driving mode allows you to set alerts but also provides a map with traffic data akin to traffic in google maps (i find this so far to be better than google maps as it's much easier to see what is going on in your area.) When on the road it reports incidents either near you or on specific highways via speaker so you don't look at it. The downside is the need for location service access. If like me you set permission to "only while using" you'll get a limited functionality message. Not clear to me why this should be so. Anyway, recommended-so far. NB No ads as this is a service funded via toll revenue.

Disappointing
Given the fact that this app has been around for two years, the lack of performance is disappointing. I've been driving on the Turnpike and the Parkway today, and the traffic issues I saw were not reported in the app. The other hand, Google maps and Apple maps both showed the delay. Also note that this app insist on location settings to be set to "always on"

Good thing this is free. I don t understand how this is supposed to be helpful. The audio is delayed during the download and won't turn off. Plus it's doesn't have to do with my current location.

I used this app during today's ice storm. It reported nothing unusual happening on the turnpike today.
Awesome
Works awesome. Always accurate and love that I can play it through Bluetooth in the car. Never had a problem connecting. Now if only they can get one for NY.
Helpful when it works
I deinstalled the app because 70% of the time it says it can’t connect and is searching for a connection, while other apps can connect.

Interesting app
Just downloaded this app after seeing the add at the toll booth on the parkway. Seems to be working properly with alerts. But I'm a little Leary that the state will figure out a way to abuse this to their benefit. It has an anonymous switch which can be turned off but I just wonder.

Downloaded the app and it truly does nothing....deleted it immediately.

Stuck in traffic is stressful, but knowing why and where is helpful.

Dangerous app
For an app that is supposed to make driving safer it fails. If you are listening to iTunes and an alert sounds it stops (not pauses like google maps) the music. Now you have to look down, open your iPhone, find the iTunes icon, and tap the play button,all while driving through a construction zone. My guess is that this app was written by a 13 year old who has never driven a car.

The app keeps your GPS on all the time which is a battery killer. Make it only when the app is on and I'll give more stars!
