Honestly, this app is a game changer for anyone who struggles to make decisions. My mom and Dad didn’t teach me much in regards to cooking, so this has helped me in brainstorming and broadening my horizons.
Saffie is the best!
I’ve never been able to be disciplined or consistent about cooking and Saffie has been an absolute game changer!
Game Changer For My Family
I downloaded this one day just to check it out and then forgot about it. One day my wife and I were discussing how we needed some different foods instead of the same old thing. Most of us I. The family needed to start eating healthier as well. Both my wife and son are celiacs. There are other allergies and food dislikes in the family. I told the app all my family requirements and what are goals were. Now we just ask for easy recipes or quick recipes or whatever the feeling is that day and the app provides and it does so in a way that meets all the family requirements. If half the family likes things a certain way the recipes say how to prepare in a way to please everyone. If I need details on a specific recipe detail I ask and get the answer. I really love this app. Thanks you so much.
Two potential areas for improvement are constant disconnects and reconnects (I’m assuming this is to avoid a constant connection to the server) and responses can be slow to return at times. Neither of these will stop me from using the app. Just suggestions.

Worse app but better AI
I found this app through an ad when searching for Ollie. After trialing both, I feel like the Ollie app is far superior in every way—no constant disconnecting and freezing, ability to move and change meals without asking the AI to do it for you, awareness of the current date—except I think Saffie’s recipes and algorithm might be better.
I would have liked to experiment more with them both apps, but this app’s UX is just so bad. If it’s ever improved in updates and if there were a way to get a second trial subscription, I’d love to give it another chance.

So Close To Good
This would be an amazing app if it wasn’t so buggy. It freezes regularly, and consistently puts recipes in weeks that have already passed. I’m going to see if there’s something similar out there that works better.
Think twice before downloading
The app maybe will load after the third time of force closing it. Then after about 6 min of waiting for your meal plans to load they don’t load the. right ones and the ones you bought all the food for are no where to be found until about 6 times of repeating the steps above. The ai just repeats the same meals over and over even after giving it clear directions. It’s a great concept and I think later it will be useful but it’s more of a pain than helpful to be honest

Another app of the day hoax
Don’t waste peoples time on boarding and all of that when you’re promoting yourself on app of the day only to disregard your offers. Apple needs to start cracking down on apps that do this or the courts need to start getting involved.
Doesn’t work
I couldn’t even ask one question. It froze partway through typing. I had to kill the app and start over. It froze again. Deleted!
Problem with app
I downloaded this AI Recipe Meal Planner: Saffie, today thru the Apps Are Free app. I’m supposed to get the lifetime premium version for free by going thru the onboarding and then choosing the Lifetime $0.00. But after I did the onboarding the only thing that showed up was a link to start a free trial. If I click on that I won’t get the free lifetime premium version. I’ll be starting the free trial which only lasts, I don’t know how long. So I can’t trust this app!!!! Very sad!!!

Great idea poor execution
This app is unable to add specific recipes already in my collections or from websites beyond a few designated recipe blogs. So while I love the idea easier planning, not having access to my recipes renders it useless for me.

App won’t even open
I paid $50 for a yearly subscription and the app won’t even open anymore. It also would malfunction when I asked the AI questions, it wouldn’t respond so I’d have to close out and go back in to get a response. The grocery lists they put together too were really hard to follow and inaccurate a lot of the time. I’d like my money back please.

Initially doubted AI generated recipes
I was skeptical using AI for meal planning but the app came up with some pretty yummy recipes! I love the Instacart integration which saved time so I didn’t have to copy and paste all my ingredients for the week.
Great new app
Just started using this new app and I’m impressed. I’ve been getting serious about meal planning and prepping and was looking for help, this app actually saves a lot of time
What sold me was the ability to import all the recipes I had saved on TikTok, I used to spend a lot of time going into my saved folders then making a list of ingredients from them each week, now the app does all that for me!
Only downside is that I wish there was a desktop version because I like meal planning on my laptop to use a bigger screen. The Instacart integration is also super cool!

Finally stress free meal planning!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this deserves a shout out. I’m a mom in my 40s and planning meals every week is honestly exhausting. I randomly decided to try this app after seeing it on TikTok and it’s been a huge help!
The AI chat is surprisingly good - last week I asked for “quick meals my picky kids will actually eat” and it suggested a one pan pesto chicken that they devoured! The grocery list sorts everything by aisle and links to my instacart which was the fastest I went from recipe to groceries EVER.
My sister is already using it too and joked that she has her sundays back. 5/5 from me - only thing is that this seems like a new app that does not have bells and whistles but it gets the job done!
