RECIPES FROM COOKING VIDEOS Paste a video link and Saffron reads the caption and what the cook says out loud. People rarely say exact amounts on camera, so anything that wasn't actually said is left blank and marked for you to fill in, rather than guessed. Videos that are only music are recognised straight away and tell you so, instead of failing quietly. AMOUNTS THAT READ LIKE A RECIPE Quantities now appear as 1/4 and 1 1/2 instead of 0.3 and 1.5. The review screen shows the amount and unit it found, not just the ingredient name. And a parsing bug that could eat a letter is fixed: "4 tablespoons butter" no longer arrives as "4 s butter". METRIC OR IMPERIAL, YOUR CHOICE Settings now converts amounts as you read them. Each recipe keeps the units it was written in, so editing always shows the original, and countable things like cloves of garlic are left alone. ICLOUD SYNC IS NOW A REAL SWITCH Turn syncing off to keep your recipes on this device only. ALSO FIXED - Cook Mode could crash on a recipe with no steps - Sharing a link from Safari sometimes opened an empty screen - Parts of the app stayed in English on Spanish devices - Removing a recipe from a list did nothing - Photos you add as covers are resized, so a big library stays light - Licenses and Privacy Policy are real screens now, not placeholders
