Ignore the review that said sago apps are junk. They are the best! I had this when I was younger, now I have world, and I still love these. Get this for your kid!
Projects don't work
Great idea and the tools are so fun to tinker with it but half the app doesn't work. Can't get the projects to start.

Terrible
I thought it was weird that my 4 year old couldn't figure out this game as we have and love almost all the other sago mini games, but when he handed his iPad to me out of frustration I couldn't even figure it out. So you click on each tool and go through a boring repetitive series of sawing, hammering, sewing, etc. and then you find one of the characters standing in the yard with a tool and some building materials and no matter which way you swipe or tap the screen, NOTHING HAPPENS. is this a glitch? I want my money back. Make some more adventure games. Those are awesome. This one is a bust.

I have all the SagoMini apps for my four grandchildren aged one to nine. The creators have managed to capture the imagination of both girls and boys. I watch as the children choose their favourite character and laugh along with the activities. As an ex teacher I highly recommend every app in the Sago bundle.

His least favorite saigo mini game
They've gone through a few attempts to make this game better, but it's still just boring. My son will usually open it long enough to watch the video preview for a different game and maybe tinker around for a few seconds but this game needs a total overhaul
Not what I expected
This is a great app but it was not what I expected!
Not the best game but
It's honestly not as good as the other sago mini games, but we still like it. I'd say the top age for this app is 3, maybe 4 if they LOOOOVE tools. It's very, very simple and repetitive, but still cute and relaxing.
Unlike some other sago games, with this game, toddlers can mash nearly anywhere on the screen and still accomplish the goal.

Really Sago?
Waste of money crap game.
Like the idea....
I like the idea of the app. Very happy about the update. Still feel like it's missing something. My son (2 years old) does all the work with making the pieces but doesn't actually get to put it together (kinda like a puzzle) or interact with it when it's complete (he keeps tapping on the character to try and get it to do something). He doesn't play with this game as long as the other sago mini games.

Decent but repetitive
My two year plays it for short periods of time. He likes tools so he enjoys using the saw, drill, hammer, wrench and other tools.
Disappointment
Sorry to say, but this app fails to meet the standards of other Sago apps. It lacks the fun and creativity that we expect.

We own n love all the apps but this one is horifyingly boring as others said... My 3 yr old gave it aprox two mins of her time.. Big disappointment..but all the others r wonderful...wish I hAd my $ back on this one

Terribly Boring
I don't understand a lot of the reviews. I think someone is getting paid to leave good reviews because this is a terrible application. Just awful! I read a lot of these reviews and they are like, "my so and so loves your games and they are so wonderful, blah, blah, blah..." Hardly anything about the actual app. I don't believe that a lot of these are actual reviews. I read about this app on USAToday and figured, since I hadn't bought my Granddaughter a game recently, I'll splurge and get this one. Less than ten minutes is all I got for the $2.99. She was so bored she actually asked if she had to play it. TERRIBLE! Drill a hole, hammer a nail, saw a log, over and over and over again... It drove me crazy watching the poor kid mess with it. You people should be ashamed turning out such crap! Every "game" is just about the same now, junk! Well, last bit of money you get from me! I won't ever buy another one of your apps again and folks, you shouldn't buy this junk either!
