Frustrating
I find it near impossible to get basic up to date news and info. There was nothing about the aborted racing in NY yesterday. You want to be the F1 of sailing. Copy that app.
Where are the results?
Try and find results from a recent race. Go on, try. It’s the most common searched topic for any sport, yet the App can’t show you, instead you get all this AI junk.
Horrible app
Who designed this dreadful app? They seem to be determined to ruin the ability to watch to races and determined to push the sailing community into paid alternatives. Shame, shame, shame.
Worst sports app
Difficult to navigate. Very little real information. Focused on selling expensive tickets in locations thousands of miles away. If sailGP received any sort of press coverage I wouldn’t bother at all.

Downloaded to use at Portsmouth Event - failed on so many levels
Where do I start? Wickedly over complicated and kept asking me “did I want to buy tickets?” I’ve already got them. I wanted to see the course layout, even plonked in front of me it was unclear and they kept moving the marks. The app was useless for that. Then the “Augmented Reality” never worked, stalled told be the square root of nothing. I have more than enough wifi mobile data etc so it’s not my end failures.
Lastly be aware that the event is a massive boom bang let’s make some noise annoying even compèred by the most annoying woman in the world. She must have come from childrens’ TV she has that “happiness at all costs attitude”.
So yes the App was poor it is being unloaded as I speak. I’m unsubscribing from everything SailGP and blocking them left right and centre.
Truly I can’t recommend it. To end on a positive note the Grandstand view was very good, the spectacle fine without all the “hoo-rah”.

App hasn’t worked on iPad for a year
Every time the app is opened on an iPad, you receive the message “Unable to initialise”. Cannot access it using the iPad. People have been complaining about this for a year now. The last response to reviews by the developers was a couple of years ago. Maybe spend some time getting the basics right before adding new features.

Broken
Worked once and then never again. Couldn’t get back in, just showed an error message. Waste of time and effort.
Absolutely Useless
Can’t log in. Just get an error message every time. Reset password, uninstalled and reinstalled, and even set up a new account but nothing works. Ridiculous.
Missing the basics for an international audience
This app has so much and yet is missing the most important basic - race times in your local Timezone. They need to look at F1s app and start from scratch for that element. There no point to a great VR experience if I don’t know when to watch the race. I don’t plan my calendar by a countdown timer telling me something is on in 4 days, 5 hrs and 30min.
The season calendar is bloated with glossy graphics and repeating levels of the same useless information. The “info” button doesn’t tell you race times, it just repeats the info you already have (race location and date). You can’t see them in your local (not track) time which is buried in the website, they’re not even on the app.

iPad issues
I used this app on both phone and iPad and it was fantastic on phone. Only problem however was when I tried watching a race on iPad, the button to direct to the race page didn’t seem to work. I hope this gets fixed but a fantastic app other than that.
Useless app
Sail Gp unwatchable. Can’t watch it on You tube tried the app for an I pad doesn’t work . Videos unavailable. Completely useless!
