Excellent videos with detailed information
I have learnt a lot from the videos and then from the training questions. I would have found some reference charts also helpful, rather than only the videos. But all in all I’ve found this to be the most useful app for learning theory of seamanship.
Used for 5 minutes before is crashed!
I wish it worked, app is outdated and does not work. Being a more expensive app...very disappointed.

I have been looking for an app to support day skipper study. This is not bad, but none of the animations for light identification work, which is annoying, because lights are one of the things a multimedia format like this would be ideal for.
Light module doesn’t work
In the light module you should sea lights flashing but they don’t :-(

Good enough for Day Skipper
Great little app to support your course material for day skipper. Found it a useful tool for revision on the move. Would I recommend it? Yes, as a supportive role as it may give more information than you need for the course. Otherwise a great refresher for sea going crews.

I can't believe I paid $20 for this. It offers very little training. The videos don't even have sound. The training is only through quizzes. I don't know how you'd pass the quizzes after watching videos with no sound. Garbage app. Don't buy it.

Lovely presentation and great execution of a sailing leaning aid on the iPhone though I must say, it looks better on the iPad. Very impressed.

The training is all contained within videos with no sound. To "learn" you watch animations. Good luck staying awake.
Good reference
Nice little app, good for learning, or brushing up on your sailing knowledge. Some issues with some of the terms used, i guess It was written in 'American' rather than 'UK' English. Good though. Going to find some time to watch all those videos!

This free app will let you endure a free Safety Lesson. After that you're going to need to cough up some cash for the rest. A modest sum of $74.99 to be exact. It is not part of any certification program either. Here's an idea if you have $75 bucks to blow. Take a ride to Barnes & Noble, buy the 66th edition of Chapman Piloting and Seamanship. Everything you would like to learn and then some is it there. You can also pick up some Starbucks with the left over money. The people that are selling this "sailing school" should be ashamed!

A great app to get you started if you looking to learn Sailing! Very Clear and informative lessons.
Not impressed!
Couldn't really evaluate since everything is an in-app purchase. The shell is the only thing free.
Not training but blind test
Sorry waste of cash not as described, goes straight into a nonsense test of signals I have never seen in 15 years of sailing rubbish
