Ok but no images???
How do you make an app with sailing terms and parts but not have a single image, picture or diagram? It’s like teaching a blind person how to drive. Otherwise it’s great. Just follow your nose
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback! We agree that sailing terms are much easier to understand with diagrams and images. Visual content is already on our roadmap, and future updates will include labelled illustrations, images, and videos for term details. Thanks for the encouragement and for helping us improve Sailing Terms. Fair winds! ⛵

When I try to make my quiz I failed. But truly this app makes my knowledge into another level. I highly recommend everyone.
WORKS
This app seems to work as promised, time will tell.
Lots of useful, well defined terms
Didn’t realize that upon opening the app it automatically generates tests to help reinforce the vocab. Very fun little app!
Could be so much better
Great idea for an app. Sadly the execution presents immediate shortcomings that are quite puzzling. Two examples. The very first entrance in the dictionary has a very bizarre typo (deliberately is spelled 'depberately': scanning typo?). And although MANY nautical terms refer to locations on or around the boat, the app-makers did not see fit to include simple diagrams to illustrate the zones and locations the words refer to. I think we can all agree we're now well beyond the era when multimedia was new and revolutionary. Pictures aren't too much to ask, especially when most of these definitions of obscure boating terms rely on and refer to yet other obscure boating terms in their definitions. A labelled diagram would make everything instantly clear. There aren't even hyperlinks attached to words within definitions, so you can jump to their definitions. I want to like this app but can't help feeling a bit frustrated and disappointed. The hyperlink came into use some time in the mid to late 1980's. This is 2023...
