User reviews

Excellent addition to therapy sessions

This app perfectly fills a need in my sessions for increased perceptual training with little extra preparation needed. I am looking forward to more modules being added for Australian English. It would be great if there was an option for purchasing all modules at once for a bit of a discount, too!

Allow feedback before going to next item

It would be great if a child could submit their response and see the feedback before tapping the “next trial” button.

Also, the website dialspeech.com is not accessible. It says “You don’t have authorization to view this page.”

App does not work

The app freezes when you select a patient

SAILS utilizes an interactive learning system where children actively listen and make judgments about speech sounds. This method is designed to accelerate progress in speech therapy, with studies showing double the usual rate of improvement when integrated into a therapy program.

How does SAILS track progress?

While specific progress tracking features are not detailed, the app's design focuses on presenting auditory stimuli for children to identify. The implied progress is measured by the child's increasing accuracy in distinguishing correct from incorrect speech sound articulations.
