Round UK anticlockwise
My good friends and sailing buddies set out in their one year old Hanse 388 for a UK circumnavigation. I was unable to join them for the passage from Southampton to the Hebrides so it was great to be able to follow their adventure!

My Concerns have been addressed
My previous 1 star review is no longer relevant. The team at Sail Ties is constantly working to make the app better. This is now my go-to personal log book.
It consistently tracks all data and is very easy to use. The team is also very responsive to questions and concerns.

Best sailing app I’ve tried
Yet to use it for a tracking app but hoping to later this month sailing south. So far I’ve been inputting trips dating back to 2006 and the process is as easy as one could expect it to be.
Great app, great value!
Love this app, I can track all my voyages, no longer need a paper log book, this does it automatically and includes loads of data and metrics. I can also save photos and videos to each journey. Essential for all sailors I reckon.Also gets better and better each year with new updates.
Free version is fine
The free version is fine and I don’t think the paid version is worth the money. The contact selection doesn’t work but even if you send a support request they aren’t party responsive.
Weather data doesn’t post consistently. I’ve requested support on this and they asked if I had checked the FAQ that had nothing that could help. This tells me that the person answering emails isn’t actually involved.
I’m looking for another app or I’ll use an old school paper log book.

Apple Watch
It would be nice if the app connected to Apple Watch like the Garmin watches!!!

I really like the app so far, exactly what I’m looking for to track my sailing adventures. A couple minor edits needed though… the notes don’t seem to save correctly and I think the Submit Log default privacy should NOT be set to ‘Public’ posting.
Great app
I love it, I was going to get a paper log book but came across this and will stick with it instead. Much nicer way of recording tracks than savvy navvys log. I’ve even made my own app for sailing races (sailing instruments) and ensured I could export gpx files to SailTies so I can log my trips there.

Needs Apple Watch Support
I’m impressed with this app and look forward to seeing it grow! What really makes it stand out is how it’s community focused - one of the great things about sailing, in my experience. While I haven’t imported the over 160 sails I’ve done since logging with a GPS app, I’m excited to share my trips with my fellow cub members. What’s keeping me from going all in on this app is the lack of Apple Watch support. My current app has a standalone Watch app that syncs to my phone. When the app offers Apple Watch support for speed, heading, distance, and more, I’ll make the switch and gladly pay the subscription.

Great app, just what was needed
Fab app with lots of features. Highly recommend. It would be good if you could like others trips and comment on them on the home page, and if there was an option for inland trip not just non-tidal.

It’s quite helpful
I like this app having used it for a few days on a couple of voyages. Would be nice if it were also available for Apple Watch so we can start and stop voyages see current progress and latest position.
Comprehensive yet simple and intuitive.
Previously used navionics and Waterspeed apps to track. Consolidating everything to this app and making edits to tracks is a breeze.

This is a great app for tracking sailing trips, logging passages and races and sharing with crew. Good concept and really well executed.
