What's New in SailTimer API™

3.0.2

July 14, 2026

This app can still send wind data to other apps for viewing, and can now also let you use our 3 beautiful weather animations in other apps: • Crowdsourced wind maps for the most accuracy and highest resolution. • AI models of ocean currents and marine weather from Amphitrite. • Marine weather forecasts from Weathernews Inc. (WNI) with maps of precipitation, visibility, air & sea temperature, wind, waves/swell & ocean currents. This update improves app stability related to the Bluetooth connection.

User reviews

Waste of time and money

I spent 10 months waiting for a wind instrument to turn up after purchasing. Then it was faulty as it would only send battery and temp data 90% of the time. Spent many unsuccessful hours trying to get it to work reliably.

What happened?

Not working on iPhone since update a month ago. Still waiting for fix…

Response from developer

Thanks for your comment. Feel free to contact Technical Support at info@SailTimerinc.com if you want to know what is happening with an update. Version 2.4 of this app has now been submitted to the app store. It took a lot of testing to replicate a bug and understand when it was occurring, and then to make adjustments in the software and test that the corrections were successful. This takes time. Ordinarily we can make changes quickly, but this one required many iterations and could only be tested when underway with GPS movement. We worked on it every day, and appreciate your patience until that was completed. Happy sailing!
