St of the Day
This app was good for a wile but it won’t even open on my I phone or my iPad. The circle jus goes round and round .
Buffering
Unfortunately the information in the app isn’t as detailed as the information on the website for each saint. But also, I listen to the minute and a half summary of the Saint every day. So far I haven’t been able to listen to it on the app. It’s always buffering. Until that’s fixed, I am going to stick with the website.

Great content. Poor execution
All of the saints bios are written in here. There is a calendar outlook. But the awesomeness of their media page online is that you can have the scenes story read to you. Whether in the car or brushing your teeth. It is near impossible to get the Saints read to you without buffering or waiting. I’m keeping the app but still frustrating.

Good content, bad app
On the website, the recordings keep saying there’s a new app to download, but it’s the same old subpar app that’s there. The content is quite good most days, but the app won’t let you resize the text to something more than 8pt font, and the audio player always fails midway through the 90 second clip. So you just have to go to the website. The app is nearly useless. But if they would only update it, it could be useful.

No sound
The app stopped playing the recorded version long time ago. The website does play the recording. Please fix this issue
Needs work and I’d pay
I find there are two major problems with this app. One, and it’s very important to me as an older person, is that the audio does not work at all. The other, also important to me, is that you cannot change the size of the type. So I guess I will continue to use the website which is not very convenient. If these two things were fixed I would gladly give it five stars.

Update needed
Not sure the app works with the latest iOS. It’s stuck on “syncing saints” and won’t open to the home screen. Hopefully the developer can update.
Not working
The app isn’t working all it does is syncing so I’m deleting it.
Can’t access
Been a subscriber for a long time; but I can’t get the app to work now, despite deleting and re-installing. In addition, I don’t know who chose the color scheme, but it is hard to read the detail about the saints as it appears grey on the screen. Too bad, I really enjoyed it but don’t recommend now.

Not working
I paid for this app about 5 years ago. Recently, the audio stopped working. I wrote in and was basically told some work, some don’t. Ok then. Now the app won’t load at all (iOS) I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it just says its syncing Saints. Totally doesn’t work at all now. Was an awesome and my favorite app. Sorry to see it go.

Help please
This is a great app. Love it, and would of given it 5 stars, but when I switched phone it quite playing. Can’t figure out got to get it to play.
Crashes!
Almost every time I use the app it crashes! Pushing the play button again rewinds to the beginning of the reflection. The reflections work better on e-mail.

Audio cuts off too early
Audio cuts off too early. Saw a review of this same issue from a year ago. Well the same problem still exist. Many, many calendar days this holds true.

Nice App: Suggestion
I really like the app, I think it’d be helpful to know the dates in which the Saints lived and it would also be a nice addition if there were notifications you could receive. Other than that, I really like the app!
Good app!
Recently downloaded this app and I like it. It gives you the good information that you need and the saint of the day. Like other reviewers, I wish they would add the dates from the saint’s life. Also, I would like it if they added a prayer at the bottom, just a suggestion!
Suitable Replacement
I recently downloaded the Saint of the Day app after unsubscribing from the daily email of the same name. A recent update entailed reading part of the biography on the Saint in the email, and linking to a webpage to finish reading. This was not a welcome change in my eyes, as reading that email is one of the first things I do in the morning and switching between apps is not optimal at that time. For better or worse, the star rating reflects my opinion of that change (and the subsequent lack of response to my inquiry about it), though the app itself is solid enough.
That being said, would it be possible to add the years the particular Saint lived, as the emails did, to the biography? Just a slight change that would go a long way to orienting the reader as to the time frame of the saint’s life.
