About
Sakinah Athar is a free, ad-free app by Mahsumah that brings your daily worship together in one calm app that works offline.
• Accurate prayer times: in Saudi Arabia, the official Umm al-Qura calendar times to the minute for 173 cities and governorates; everywhere else, calculated on your device for your location. Updated automatically when you travel.
• Prayer alerts with a reminder before each prayer, and the adhan adhkar after every call to prayer.
• The Uthmani mushaf: all 604 pages from verified text (King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex), with index, search, bookmarks, night mode and a hide-ayat mode for memorising.
• Quran recitation by Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly, ayah by ayah. It keeps playing with your screen locked, with controls on the lock screen, and you can save a surah to listen offline.
• Tafsir al-Sa'di in Arabic, and translations of the meanings of the Quran in more than 80 languages from the Noble Quran Encyclopedia, credited to their translators.
• The complete Hisn al-Muslim: every chapter with a counter for each dhikr, and a daily reminder for the morning adhkar after Fajr and the evening adhkar after Asr.
• Tasbih, with a live counter showing how much dhikr the app's users have made worldwide today.
• Khatmah plan: choose how long, and we split it into a daily portion.
• Qibla, Hijri calendar and a Ramadan timetable for your city — and add the Hijri calendar to your phone's calendar.
• Share verses and adhkar on beautiful cards and share the reward.
• Support inside the app through the Sakinah assistant; replies arrive in "My messages".
Your privacy first: no account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking — your location stays on your device.
Available in 10 languages (Arabic, English, Indonesian, Malay, Turkish, Urdu, Bengali, French, German and Spanish) on iPhone and iPad.
Sakinah Athar is made by Mahsumah and hosted on Mahsumah Cloud.
