SalahMode is a gentle, prayer-time-aware companion. It helps you set distracting apps aside around the five daily prayers — and invites you to pause and pray. You choose the apps. You choose the moments. When a prayer time arrives, SalahMode places a calm reminder over the apps you picked, with a short ayah and two simple choices: pray now, or not yet. It is a nudge, never a punishment — you are always free to continue. WHY SALAHMODE IS DIFFERENT • Gentle by design. A soft pause and an invitation, not a hard block or a guilt trip. Missed a prayer? Tomorrow is a clean slate — no streaks to break, no scolding, nothing to feel anxious about. • You are in control. Pick the apps that pull you in, set your prayer windows, and turn it on or off whenever you like. • Truly private. No account, no servers, nothing leaves your phone. Prayer times are calculated on your device from your approximate location, and SalahMode never even learns which apps you chose. • Free. Built as a labor of love — sadaqah, not a money grab. HOW IT WORKS SalahMode uses Apple's Screen Time technology to pause your chosen apps during the prayer windows you set. Prayer times are computed on-device using trusted calculation methods — pick your calculation method and madhab in Settings. A small pause, to remember what matters.
