About

SalaryMan turns your monthly pay into a number that moves. Set it up once — your monthly pay, your working hours, your fixed costs — and then you never have to touch it again. From that moment on, the only thing you ever do with SalaryMan is look at it. WATCH IT MOVE While you are at work, the number climbs every second. Not a daily total you check at night — a live counter you can glance at during a meeting and see that you earned something in the last thirty seconds. FREEDOM DAY Tell SalaryMan what your fixed monthly costs are — rent, bills, subscriptions — and it marks the exact moment in the month when they are covered. Everything you earn after that line is free income. It is a strangely good feeling to watch that line get closer. PAID HOLIDAYS COUNT Public holidays are paid, so SalaryMan keeps earning on them. On a public holiday the number turns gold and ticks all day while you do nothing at all. Holiday calendars for a range of countries are built into the app — no permissions, no network. Pick yours in Settings, or switch it off. If your country isn't included, nothing is marked automatically and you can still mark any day yourself. PART-TIME WORK Add a second job with its own hourly rate, schedule your shifts, and watch them count toward the same monthly total. Shifts in progress show a live countdown to the end of the shift. You can also schedule a shift with no pay at all and use it as a plain countdown to a meeting or an appointment. BONUSES Got a one-off payment? Add it and it goes straight into this month's total. PRIVACY BY DESIGN SalaryMan has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We run no servers. What you enter stays on your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — in your own iCloud account, so that it comes back when you get a new phone. The Home screen never shows a money amount at all, only a percentage, so you can look at it in public without showing anyone your salary. ON YOUR WRIST SalaryMan includes an Apple Watch app and a watch face complication, so the number is there when you raise your wrist. A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS SalaryMan is a personal tool, not payroll software. It estimates your earnings from the figures you type in yourself. It does not know about tax, overtime, deductions, or your employer's actual pay rules, and the amounts it shows are not your real pay.
