About
You can redo the same movement ten times over. Step back one stage at a time, do the sujud again, read the Fatiha word by word as often as you need: no one is watching, nothing leaves here. That is what is missing when you begin — somewhere to get it wrong in peace.
EVERY POSTURE IN MOTION
Not a frozen photo: the whole movement. The takbir, the qiyam, the descent into ruku, the itidal, the sujud, the sitting, the tashahhud with the finger rising, the taslim to the right then to the left. You see how each position is entered, and how it is left.
THE ARABIC WORD BY WORD, THE MEANING BELOW
The word being recited lights up; under it, the phonetics in Latin letters and the translation. Three layers: turn on the ones you want, choose which one comes first and at what size. If you cannot read Arabic yet, you still follow from day one. The translation ships in 55 languages, with no network needed.
THE PRAYER FITS YOUR BODY
Standing, seated or lying down. Ruku and sujud remain, performed with a nod of the head: that is al-ima. Whoever is ill or bedbound prays too, and the app does not treat it as a special case. You also choose who shows you the movement — a father, a mother, a son, a daughter: the figure follows the sex, never a sister shown as a man.
THE MASTER WHO RECITES
Eight reciters to download: al-Husari, al-Afasy, Abd al-Basit, ash-Shatiri, al-Minshawi, ash-Shuraym, at-Tablawi, ar-Rifai. Only the surahs you chose for your prayers come down, not the whole Quran — and once there, they play with no network. All eight are synced to the word. You can also import your own recitation, or record your own voice for the formulas: the pace then follows your breath, but the word-by-word highlight is gone — no one can know in advance where your voice has reached. Three speeds: measured, normal, brisk.
BEFORE YOU PRAY
Wudu, ghusl, tayammum, step by step, with the four fard of Quran 5:6 set apart from the sunnah. The hajj and funeral prayer guides are here too.
NOT ONLY THE FIVE
The five obligatory prayers, and also the rawatib, the shaf, the witr, the tahajjud, the duha, the istighfar, the free nafl. You choose in advance the surah that follows al-Fatiha, prayer by prayer.
ON THE WRIST
The watch mirrors the sequence: a click at every step, a rise at every rakah, a tap at the taslim. Forehead on the ground, you do not look at a screen lying on the floor — you feel your wrist.
WHAT STAYS WITH YOU
No account, no advertising, no tracker. What you recite, what you record, what you practise does not leave the device.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It shows the movements and the words in their order, and it keeps you company while you learn. It does not pray for you, it issues no religious ruling, and it does not replace someone who corrects you up close. When you can, learn beside a brother or a sister at your mosque.
THE SUBSCRIPTION
Five guided prayers a day are free — enough to cover the five obligatory ones; the voluntary prayers draw on the same counter. Premium lifts the limit.

What's New in Salat&Ihsan
1.2.1
August 23, 2026
Your recitation, finally heard. • The voice you import now stays selected. It was reset every time the app opened, and again when guided prayer began — right before reciting. • Guided prayer now plays your voice, surah by surah. • For a chosen passage, the app no longer recites the whole surah: it stays silent rather than say something other than what the screen shows. • Word-by-word highlighting follows the voice when timings are available.
