Why even have an app
The app sends notifications, and when you click on the notifications, it opens the app which immediately redirects you to social media. Just show the story on your app, or get rid of the app. This is absurd.

I love listening to The Mike Gallagher show but it never works on this app. I will click the app, click his show and it’s just a black screen with a white arrow and it NEVER plays. Doesn’t even deserve the one star in my opinion!!

A unique viewpoint
I have just added the Salem News app to a new iPad I acquired, and am enjoying catching up with Mr. Hewitt daily on YouTube. The mix of current events, fascinating interviews, and book reviews provides me with all I need to feel competent about a conservative political philosophy in our modern world.
For example, I was very excited about Hugh’s interview and review of Leland Vittert’s autobiography, “Born Lucky”. I proceeded to order the book from Amazon, and being a retired school teacher, plan to share multiple copies with friends and family because that is now my calling. To promote reading as a way of enriching life is my burning passion. This week Hugh interviewed Bret Baier about his new book about Theodore Roosevelt, “To Rescue the American Spirit”.
My son, Zeb, is working in Fargo, ND at North Dakota State University, and he very excited about the museum that will opened in honor of Theodore Roosevelt’s life in 2O26. I could not have had a better recommendation for a book to share than the enthusiastic interview and review by Hugh. I immediately ordered a copy for myself and sent a copy to my son.
I, as many others, view Hugh as a national treasure, that daily provides a positive alternative to the progressive spin of the legacy media. I feel honored to share my review.

Bad Connection?
First, I do enjoy watching the hosts and seeing their guests. I like the hosts and the programming. My primary issue is with the technical aspects. This morning, Good Friday, I’ve just muted the channel because the news was being repeated for the third time, same recording, three times in a row. I know the offices are probably closed for the holiday but the machine messed up. I am aware that when the live show cuts away for a national commercial - most of those are also repeats - that’s usually the time for the local radio hosts to do their news, weather and traffic spots. I still will watch the Salem News Channel and I commend you for attempting to meld the two technologies of radio and television, national and local channels.

Upgrade the app
Firstly, I love the content and try to listen live whenever can. Unfortunately, it freezes occasionally on my Samsung TV and I have change channels and go back. However, the best thing that could be done on the mobile app would be to make it where you can open other apps while Salem plays in the background. Currently, that is not an option. Can’t wait for Dennis Prager to come back!

Finding 96.9 keys radio station. Cant find. Yes too
I'm trying to find the new station in Key Largo Tavineer Florida and it's absolutely hard to find anything you want. They advertise that on 96.9 FM in the keys you have a lot of good stuff but it's very cluttered that needs to be more organized. I'm gonna delete the. The app Key Largo resident.
Ads are over the top
The content and it interviews are good when they are playing. The ads are insane. 2 to 3 minutes,
repetitive music, no idea how long it will last or when it will end. Watch another three minute segment with good content, and then three minutes more of ads. Often the breaks for the ads don’t even contain any advertising. The viewer watches and waits during an advertising break whether ads are being displayed or not. I understand the advertisements pay the bills, but there has to be a better user/viewer experience than this. Can you not do anything to improve viewer experience?
