Volume normalization Albums and tracks recorded at different levels now play at a consistent volume. Choose Off, Track, or Album in Settings > Playback. Normalization applies to playback on this device, including downloaded albums played offline. Music sent directly to AirPlay or UPnP speakers is passed through untouched, and Saltpath shows you which applies. Album groups Different editions of the same record can be grouped into a single entry in Browse and Search, with the formats and bit depths of each edition shown underneath. Grouping is something you choose; nothing happens automatically and your files are never changed. Per-speaker volume safety Each speaker has its own volume mode and an optional cap, and Saltpath is explicit about speakers that only accept relative steps or report no volume at all. Caps are enforced even when playback moves between speakers. A refreshed interface Settings has been rebuilt around destinations. Browse gains a two-column layout on iPad, and colour and contrast have been reworked throughout. Reliability - Fixed a Queue screen that could come up blank after a slow start - Fixed track order when adding to the queue with Shuffle or Radio active - Steadier reconnection when the Mac Host restarts while you are listening - Compatibility with iOS and iPadOS 27
