How long can I play Salvage for free?

What happens when I die in Salvage?
When you die, you drop all your items at your location. You can return to retrieve them, but if you die again before doing so, that pile of items is lost forever.

The infected have realistic vision cones and are affected by sound. Walls can block their line of sight and muffle noise, while darkness can hide you unless you carry a light source.
What is the goal of Salvage?
The ultimate goal is to escape the dead country by salvaging a transmitter, building a signal beacon, and defending the extraction zone for three and a half minutes while everything on the map converges on you.
