I’ll tell you why I will give you the one star, because of the hundreds of apps I have tried, you managed to annoy me. The app works as intended, no button customization to make your own, but it works.
What it doesn’t work is being able to press 3 buttons without an ad. Guys, seriously, this is beyond acceptable at this point. Let the customer use the app for an hour before drowning them in ads. I understand you need revenue, but this is beyond acceptable. I am not kidding, you press 2 buttons or you go to the settings and you get an ad.
I might’ve, actually would’ve bought the app if you would have just let me use it and see how reliable it would be over at least an hour of use, but instead, even testing ALL the buttons took me way too long because of the constant adds. No $20 from me.

This app says free, but free version is worthless. You can not even change the volume, it just states you have to pay big if you want to use volume feature.
Constantly just brings up screen to purchase high dollar subscription. Cheaper to just buy some more remotes and leave them laying around.
Hardly anything works in free version. Escape button works, but changing channels does not. Changing volume does not. Etc

Terrible too many ads when using limited version
I just downloaded the app, a Google ad came up at least three-four times in the first 30 seconds that I was trying to figure out how to use the remote. Deleted it I will use something else not so annoying.

Worst app experience I’ve ever had
I wasn’t having a great day and I decided to relax and watch some TV. I was watching TV and had his restaurant, so I used the restroom. I came back and couldn’t figure out why put the remote. Then I spend 5 to 10 minutes looking for it. I gave up, and remembered I had the Sam Remote app. I tried to use it but I cannot do anything because it was riddled with ads. I cannot click on anything. After 10 minutes of trying to use it it’s straight up stopped working, because it made me buy premium.I did it because it’s a crappy app. So overall do not buy this app at any cost I would rate it a zero out of 10.
