SamaHear Navigation Guide SamaHear guides you with haptic vibrations so you can navigate independently without needing to hear voice directions or see a map. Haptic Navigation Hold your phone or mount it on your chest. You feel distinct vibration patterns for each direction — two pulses for left, three for right, an ascending sequence as you approach your destination. Learn the patterns in a quick tutorial, then navigate entirely by touch. Routes use Apple Maps with safety scoring based on crosswalks, pedestrian paths, and avoidance of major road crossings. The safest route is recommended first. Obstacle Detection Your camera detects obstacles and hazards in real time using on-device processing. When something is in your path, you feel an escalating vibration. A continuous strong vibration means stop. No camera data leaves your phone. Fall Detection & Emergency Response If you fall, a 3-step safety system activates: Haptic check-in for 30 seconds — tap "I'm OK" to cancel. Your emergency contact gets a notification with your location. After 30 more seconds with no response, an SMS with your GPS and a live video link is sent automatically. You can adjust sensitivity and calibrate for your activity level. Note: this is not a medical device. For critical emergencies, always call 911/112 directly. Emergency Contacts Add trusted people who must verify consent via email before receiving any alerts. Your privacy and theirs is protected.
