FAQ
What is SameTake?
SameTake is a video recording app that allows you to capture both vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) video formats from a single recording session. It helps you compose your shot effectively for both orientations before you start filming.
How does SameTake help with composition?
Before you press record, SameTake displays both the vertical and horizontal frames simultaneously. You can reposition these frames to ensure the most important elements of your scene are visible in both, preventing awkward cropping later.
Can I use SameTake for different social media platforms?
Yes, SameTake is designed for this purpose. It generates vertical videos ideal for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok, and horizontal videos suitable for YouTube, websites, and presentations.
What are the subscription options for SameTake?
SameTake offers a premium version that removes branding from exported videos. Subscription plans include 'SameTake Premium Monthly' for $1.99 and 'SameTake Premium Yearly' for $17.99.
Does SameTake have ads?
The app is free to download and use, with free exports including SameTake branding. There are no advertisements within the app itself. Premium removes this branding.
