Sami is one of those tools that you only look to when you simply don’t want to delete your photos or videos but you also want to free up some space in your iCloud account. It is a Lossy compressor so some quality loss is expected, however if you have other storage outside of iCloud you can still have it keep the originals outside of iCloud so you preserve the originals but can free up a lot of space and keep versions that are more than good enough for social media. If your like me and like to shoot RAW and end up only picking a few favorites out the batch and never get around to pruning them later, This app can help you out! I am thankful to have something like Sami to help me keep my storage optimized.
