Samoa Language Learning App
This is nothing without the $80 subscription. The only thing you are able to do without paying is look at the dictionary, giving the definition in both languages. The 2 stars is for the work put into the dictionary. If you are looking for a free app to learn your culture, this is not the app for you.

Crashing out!
This one star is for the app crashing out while in use.

disappointing
was excited to finally come across an app where i can learn my language but was very disappointed when to find there’s nothing more but a dictionary. if you wanna access what they have advertised be ready to pay $130 yearly.

Expensive
Basic version not helpful for pronunciation. Sadly The full version is really expensive
Buggy
So I paid for the premium and it seems to be ok. But the app crashes when you click on certain phrases. I’ve only been using it for a day and there are two phrases that cause the app to completely crash and close. I’d like to see that fixed considering I spent money on this app. My Pastor is a native speaker and I’d like to learn the language

Seems like the developer only responds to “positive” reviews and doesn’t respond or fix the problems on this app. This is why I’ll be deleting it and hope something better comes along.

Getting in touch w/ my roots is made all the more easier w/ this wonderful app. There are words I always had trouble pronouncing and this helps fix that issue. Like I would tell anyone else. If you want to respect the culture don’t tattoo your skin! Learn the language. Show respect that way.

Can be better
Pointless unless you pay. If anything it could be useful only to Samoan speaking people with a dictionary of words I wouldn’t use in any daily conversation whatsoever and I’m born and raised. Sorry to my grand babies whom my daughter wants them to learn.

At first I thought the Audio did not work, but after receiving feedback the audio worked. My phone was on silent. I look forward to learning the language. Thank you for your help!

AFTER PURCHASE
Pronunciation of words were working before I purchased subscription. Now it’s not working at all

I was really considering purchasing the bells and whistles that comes with this app because I really would like to better my Samoan but after reading all the negative reviews with no response; I think I’ll pass. I’m really surprised Apple is allowing this to happen let alone go on. Shame on these developers for not fixing the issues with the app. Wanting to learn is an awesome thing. If it’s about the money which I’m sure it is. Think of all the loss because of the negative reviews and with no response at that. Well there’s my two sense. Too bad I thought I found something good. Who knows I may still try it because I’m very eager to learn.

Not impressed
The reason I got this and paid for the premium was so that I could hear the words/phrases. The speaking portion doesn’t even work so I can’t hear how to pronounce anything. I want a refund honestly!

Obviously not designed or written by a Samoan speaker. Google translate? Very poor quality and inaccurate
